Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 October 2026. These Terms govern your use of the Inklet website, web application and related services (together, the “Service”) provided by VectorAI LLC (“VectorAI”, “we”, “us”). Please read them carefully: Sections 8, 9 and 12 limit our liability and govern how disputes are resolved.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, clicking “I agree”, making a payment, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it, and “you” refers to that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may change these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and change the “Last updated” date; for material changes we will also notify account holders by email or in the Service. Changes take effect 14 days after posting, or immediately for changes that are required by law or that do not reduce your rights. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms.
2. The Service
Inklet turns text and numbers into visuals. The hosted Service provides accounts and free and paid tiers. We may add, change, suspend or remove features at any time, including moving features between tiers, and we may set limits on usage (for example, on storage, exports or API calls) at our discretion. We are under no obligation to provide any particular feature, level of availability, support, or compatibility with any file, device or third-party service.
Output quality depends on your input and on automated heuristics. Visuals, charts and any numbers, labels or summaries shown in them are generated automatically and may be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing any output before relying on it, publishing it or sharing it.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) and provide accurate information. One person per account.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, for keeping your password and keys secret, and for notifying us promptly at the address below of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for loss caused by unauthorized use of your credentials.
- We may refuse, suspend or close any account at our discretion, including for inactivity, suspected abuse, non-payment or legal reasons.
4. Plans, payment and refunds
- Paid tiers are subscriptions billed in advance, per account, at the prices shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase, plus any applicable taxes. Prices may change; changes apply from your next billing period after notice.
- Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms. We do not store card details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds are given for unused time.
- Except where required by law, all fees are non-refundable. If we terminate your paid subscription without cause before the end of a period you have paid for, your sole remedy is a pro-rated refund of the fees prepaid for the unused part of that period.
- If a payment fails, we may downgrade the account to the free tier after a grace period. Features of a paid tier (such as large or animated exports and brand styles) stop being available when the tier ends; existing documents remain accessible.
- Free-tier features, trials and promotional credits may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the text, numbers, documents, images and other material you put into the Service, and to the visuals you make from them (“Your Content”). You grant VectorAI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, display and transmit Your Content solely as needed to provide the Service to you, to keep backups, and to comply with law. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all rights needed to use it with the Service and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.
You may export your documents at any time. We may delete Your Content after an account is closed or after an extended period of inactivity, and we have no obligation to keep copies. Keep your own backups. The Service is not a storage or archival service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service to infringe, defame, harass, deceive or harm anyone, or to produce unlawful, hateful or sexually explicit material involving minors; (b) upload malware, or probe, scan, overload, or interfere with the Service, its security or other users; (c) resell, rent, sublicense or provide the hosted Service to third parties, or offer it as a competing service; (d) circumvent tier limits, metering or access controls, or share one paid account among several people or organizations; (e) scrape the Service or access it by automated means other than a normal browser; (f) misrepresent output of the Service as human-made where that is prohibited by law or as official material of any organization; or (g) use the Service in violation of export-control or sanctions laws. We may investigate and remove content or suspend accounts that we believe violate this section.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, designs, visual styles, icons, documentation and the Inklet name and logo, is owned by VectorAI and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. These Terms grant you no rights in the Service other than the limited right to use it as described here. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the hosted Service except as allowed by law. The Inklet name and logo may not be used without our written permission. Feedback you send us may be used freely without obligation to you.
8. No warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VECTORAI AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS AND SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, THAT ANY CONTENT WILL BE PRESERVED, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AND ANY OUTPUT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in that case the above exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted there, and any non-excludable warranty is limited to 30 days from first use.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL VECTORAI OR ITS OWNERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, LICENSORS OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, DATA OR CONTENT, COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON ANY OUTPUT, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, STATUTE OR OTHERWISE), EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF VECTORAI AND THE PERSONS LISTED ABOVE FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO VECTORAI FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN US DOLLARS (US$10). IF YOU USE THE SERVICE FREE OF CHARGE, THAT AMOUNT IS US$10. THIS CAP IS CUMULATIVE, NOT PER INCIDENT, AND A REFUND OF FEES PAID IS YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY.
These limitations are an essential basis of the bargain between you and VectorAI, apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose, and apply to the fullest extent permitted in your jurisdiction. They do not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited. You agree that any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.
10. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless VectorAI and its owners, members, managers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors and suppliers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: Your Content; your use of the Service or of any output; your breach of these Terms or of any law; your violation of any third-party right; or the acts of anyone using your account. We may take over the defence of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you will cooperate with us.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms, non-payment, legal risk, or discontinuation of the Service. On termination your right to use the Service ends immediately; Sections 4 (as to amounts owed), 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13 survive. We may delete Your Content after termination; see Section 5.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at the address below and to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least 30 days.
Binding arbitration and class-action waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer or Commercial Arbitration Rules, as applicable, in the State of New Mexico or by video conference. YOU AND VECTORAI EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court, or seek injunctive relief in court for infringement of intellectual-property rights. Where arbitration is not permitted, the state and federal courts located in the State of New Mexico have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction. You may opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
13. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any order or plan description are the entire agreement about the Service and supersede all prior agreements. Any additional or conflicting terms you propose are rejected.
- Severability and waiver. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the rest remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of hosting, payment or email providers, internet failures, acts of government, labour disputes, or natural events.
- Third parties and data processing. The Service relies on third-party processors (hosting by netcup GmbH in the EU, Stripe for payments, Resend for email delivery), listed in the Privacy Policy; where you use the Service to process personal data of others, you are the controller of that data and we act on your instructions as set out in the Privacy Policy, and a data processing agreement is available on request. We are not responsible for their services, and there are no third-party beneficiaries of these Terms except the persons indemnified or protected in Sections 8 to 10.
- Notices and contact. Notices to you may be sent to your account email or shown in the Service. Notices to us: VectorAI LLC, at support@inklet.dev.
